LATEST REPORT: Angel Reese Can’t Talk About This Celebrity Moment

Angel Reese, star of the Chicago Sky,

acknowledges that when she first met Rihanna, she was unable to speak.

During the most recent episode of her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,

” Reese revealed to her guest, Coco Jones, that she “didn’t have any words”

for the fashion and music legend when they first met.

For those who don’t know, Reese met Rihanna on December 5 at the 38th annual FN

Achievement Awards, when the WNBA All-Star inquired if she and the founder of Fenty Beauty might work together.

The All-Star forward revealed that she was silent and unsure of what to say when they first met, suggesting that it took a lot for Reese to say that to Rihanna.

Reese added, “I met Rihanna yesterday for the first time,” in the episode that was recorded. “My mouth, I couldn’t even, I didn’t have any words.”

“I said, ‘I want to collaborate with you.'” All I could say was that. ‘Let’s do it,’ she says. “I said, ‘Bet.'”

For her part, Coco Jones explained why she could understand Angel Reese’s feelings.

It’s a common response when you meet someone you look up to or admire, she said. “We be like that with Beyonce and Rihanna,” Jones clarified.
