Breaking News: Jaylen Waddle of the Dolphins responds swaggeringly to a big performance.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle hasn’t been as successful as he would have liked through Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season.

Waddle has had a forgettable season, whether it is due to his ineffective quarterbacking after Tua Tagovailoa’s time on injured leave, other ailments, or the sheer volume of offensive playmakers he competes for with targets.

But Waddle’s breakthrough performance against the Patriots helped the Dolphins win three in a row. According to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, Waddle responded to his difficult start to the season with a highly confident attitude after the victory.

At his postgame conference, Waddle stated, “We have a lot of playmakers on the team, so somebody is normally going to have a day.”

We have a lot of playmakers, so if it’s not [Jonnu Smith], it’s [Tyreek Hill], [De’Von Achane], [Raheem Mostert].

That’s the beautiful thing about this offense. Our players are capable of making plays at any time.

Although fantasy football managers may not agree with Waddle’s response, his viewpoint is appropriate for real-life football.

These players need to understand that they might not get the ball every game when opposing teams are worried about so many playmakers, especially given the speed of this attack.
The Dolphins’ three-game winning streak is also not to be laughed at, even though they haven’t had the best season yet.

Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is unconcerned with personal objectives.

After the Dolphins’ victory against their divisional rival on Sunday, Waddle, a four-year veteran, noted that he is not a selfish player.

According to Waddle, “I was more frustrated by the losses than by individual goals.”

“That’s really more of a media issue.”

It’s easy to assume that Waddle is less irritated now that the Dolphins are back on track following their six Week 2–9 losses.

A three-game winning streak makes it easy to claim that one isn’t frustrated, but it will be fascinating to see if Waddle maintains this modest outlook if the Dolphins begin to regress to their preseason levels. Miami’s offense was obviously aided by Tua Tagovailoa’s comeback, and since Waddle’s success is closely related to the quarterback’s, it’s not surprising to learn that the wide receiver is feeling upbeat.
